MOCKUP & CUSTOMIZATION APPROVAL POLICY

MOCKUP & CUSTOMIZATION APPROVAL POLICY

Solid Collection Luxury Cosmetics LLC

This policy applies to wholesale, private label, custom-branded, and other personalized orders requiring a digital mockup or Client-approved customization.

Please review your mockup carefully. Final approval authorizes Solid Collection to proceed with production using the approved information.

PURPOSE OF YOUR MOCKUP

Digital mockups are provided to allow Clients to review applicable customization details before production.

Depending on the order, your mockup may show:

  • Logo placement
  • Business/brand name
  • Product name
  • Shade name or custom rename
  • Text placement
  • General packaging layout
  • Product or packaging selection
  • Other applicable custom-printing details

Mockups are intended primarily as a digital representation of customization and placement.

They should not be interpreted as an exact photographic representation of the finished physical product.

MOCKUP TURNAROUND

When a mockup is included with an order, we generally aim to provide it within approximately 24–48 business hours after receiving all information required to prepare the mockup, unless otherwise communicated.

High order volume, complex customization, revisions, missing information, weekends, holidays, or other operational circumstances may extend this timeframe.

Mockup preparation time is separate from the production timeframe.

REVIEW YOUR MOCKUP CAREFULLY

Before approving your mockup, please review all applicable details, including:

  • Correct logo
  • Logo placement
  • Logo orientation
  • Brand/business name
  • Spelling
  • Product names
  • Shade names and renames
  • Packaging information
  • Product selections
  • Quantities when displayed
  • Other customization shown for approval

It is the Client’s responsibility to identify requested corrections before providing final approval.

FINAL MOCKUP APPROVAL

When you state that your mockup is approved, confirmed, final, looks good, ready for production, or otherwise clearly communicate authorization to proceed, Solid Collection may treat that communication as final approval.

After final approval, your order may be released for production.

Final mockup approval begins the applicable wholesale/private label production timeframe.

Once production has begun, changes cannot be guaranteed.

CHANGES BEFORE APPROVAL

If something on your mockup needs to be corrected, please notify us before approving it.

Clearly identify the requested change so that an updated mockup can be prepared when appropriate.

Do not approve a mockup if you are still requesting changes.

CHANGES AFTER FINAL APPROVAL

Once final approval has been provided and the order has entered production, requested changes may no longer be possible.

This is because customized products, packaging, printing, labels, components, or other materials may already have entered production.

If a requested post-approval change is still possible, the Client may be responsible for additional:

  • Artwork fees
  • Printing fees
  • Packaging fees
  • Product costs
  • Material costs
  • Production fees
  • Shipping costs
  • Other costs associated with reproducing or changing approved merchandise

Solid Collection will communicate applicable charges before completing an optional post-approval change when practicable.

CLIENT-SUBMITTED INFORMATION

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all customization information submitted to Solid Collection is complete and accurate.

This includes applicable:

  • Logo files
  • Business names
  • Product names
  • Shade selections
  • Shade renames
  • Tube selections
  • Lip liner selections
  • Packaging selections
  • Packaging colors
  • Quantities
  • Product combinations
  • Spelling
  • Other customization instructions

Solid Collection is not responsible for an error resulting from incorrect information submitted by the Client when the finished merchandise accurately reflects the information submitted and approved.

LOGO & ARTWORK QUALITY

Clients are responsible for providing appropriate logo/artwork files when requested.

Higher-quality artwork generally produces better printing results.

When possible, Clients should provide the requested file format, such as a high-resolution or vector/PDF version of their logo.

If artwork supplied by the Client is low-resolution, blurry, pixelated, incorrectly formatted, or otherwise limited in quality, those limitations may affect the finished print.

If replacement artwork is requested, production may be delayed until an acceptable file is received.

AUTHORIZATION TO USE CLIENT ARTWORK

By submitting a logo, business name, trademark, graphic, artwork, photograph, or other material for customization, the Client represents that they own the material or have authorization to use it.

The Client authorizes Solid Collection and its applicable production partners to reproduce the submitted material as reasonably necessary to fulfill the order.

MOCKUPS & PRODUCT COLORS

Mockups are not intended to guarantee the exact physical shade, color, finish, material, or appearance of the finished product.

Colors can appear differently depending on:

  • Screen brightness
  • Device settings
  • Lighting
  • Photography
  • Printing method
  • Product material
  • Packaging material
  • Manufacturing batch
  • Other production variables

For cosmetic shades, Clients should select shades using the applicable shade chart or product options provided for the specific product being purchased.

A mockup should not be used as the sole method for judging the exact physical cosmetic shade.

SHADE CHART RESPONSIBILITY

Different products or components may have different available shade charts.

Clients are responsible for selecting shades from the correct shade chart associated with the product or component they are purchasing.

A shade available for one product style, formula, tube, liner, or component is not automatically available for another.

If clarification is needed, please contact Solid Collection before approving your selections.

PRODUCT & COMPONENT AVAILABILITY

Certain tubes, packaging styles, colors, boxes, components, or materials may occasionally become unavailable or discontinued.

If a selected component becomes unavailable before or during production and a materially different substitution is necessary, Solid Collection will communicate with the Client and obtain approval when reasonably required before proceeding with that substitution.

Minor manufacturing variations that do not materially change the Client’s selected product may occur.

APPROVED ERRORS

Once a Client approves a mockup, the Client is confirming that the customization details shown for approval are acceptable.

If an error was clearly visible on the approved mockup and the final product accurately reflects that approved mockup, the issue generally will not qualify as a Solid Collection production error.

This includes Client-approved errors involving applicable:

  • Spelling
  • Shade names
  • Product names
  • Logo selection
  • Logo placement
  • Text
  • General layout

Clients should therefore carefully inspect the final mockup before approving production.

SOLID COLLECTION PRODUCTION ERRORS

If the finished product materially differs from the final approved mockup or confirmed customization instructions because of an error made by Solid Collection or our production process, please contact us according to our Damaged, Missing & Incorrect Order Policy.

We will review the approved mockup, order documentation, photographs of the merchandise, and other relevant information to determine the appropriate resolution.

PRODUCTION BEGINS AFTER APPROVAL

For wholesale/private label orders requiring mockup approval, the applicable estimated production timeframe begins after final mockup approval.

Delays in responding to mockups, submitting corrections, providing artwork, or supplying required information may delay the start of production.

Please do not schedule a product launch based on a mockup date alone.

MOCKUP APPROVAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT

You understand that digital mockups are representations and that reasonable differences may exist between digital images and physical products.
